Lewis
Diagrams
Lewis diagrams are used to show the connectivity between
atoms in
a molecule, they tell you nothing about the arrangement of the
atoms
of a molecule within 3D space, that is left to VSEPR
or hybridisation see Ch 2)
You should be able to draw a Lewis
diagram for both organic and inorganic
molecules as the latter are often used as reagents in organic syntheses.
If you think you
can draw Lewis diagrams, try
some questions now.

to determine a Lewis diagram.
